Eugene and his team did a truly outstanding job replacing my lead water service line. They left the basement pristine — the new copper pipe now emerges cleanly from newly laid concrete. The hole required to run the pipe had to be dug in my front garden, but the team carefully spared my mature Japanese peony and replaced the stonework so well that, once everything was finished, the digging was barely noticeable. I rarely leave reviews, but this team deserves the highest praise. Several friends and neighbours have had similar work done, and I’ve seen contractors leave yards in a terrible mess. That was absolutely not the case here. Not only was the workmanship excellent and attentive, but their responsiveness was impressive as well. I phoned five plumbing contractors for quotes, and the Rooter Team was the first to respond — the very same day. That evening, Eugene came by to assess the situation and provide a quote, which was by far the most reasonable. They have my highest recommendation.

I was looking for a Plumber to replace my Water service - Lead pipe replacement. From start to finish, the process dealing with Eugene has been positive and easy. Quotation was easy and quick. No booking an on site visit then wait a few days for a quote. All he needed was a couple of pictures, his own research and within the same day, I've received a written quote which he stuck to. On top of that, the quoted price was very fair compared to 7 other quotes that I've received. He was able to begin work within the week of signing the contract. Showed up on time for the scheduled work and got it done within the same day. There was a minor item that was not part of the scope and an inconvenience to him but he still did it flawlessly and without complains. Work was done clean and minimal clean-up was needed on my part. Communication was clear and responsive. Every question and concerns I had was answered. He would even give me suggestions and expert advice for on-going projects. Team Rooter has saved my home during a sump pump failure. It was a warm December day when snow melted around the house. I remember walking into furnace room where our sump pump is and it smelled a little damp. The next day I noticed water around the sump pump area and immediately knew there was an issue. I googled for emergency plumber and called first three random plumbers that came up. Two of them said they would drop by the same day - that never happened. The third dropped by the next day and gave a $$$$ quote that I thought was excessive. I decided to try some of my friends and called almost everyone I know. Finally, one of my friends recommended a plumber they used before for emergency drain cleaning service. I called Team Rooter right away and they were at my house within one hour. It was a quick investigation to find my sump pump failed. They quickly ordered the pump for a very $ reasonable fee the same day. What's even more shocking was what happened after install and camera investigation. I found out that I had clay pipes with roots and a sump pump connected to the sewer. I was never aware of that. The plumbers advised me that a backup will definitely occur and that draining water in sewer line from sump pump is also not good. I was given the option to have a drain cleaning service done to get rid of the roots or an upgrade of the whole sewer line. After considering some options and discussing the price and work to be done - I proceeded with replacing/upgrading my old sewer line. I was very surprised that when Team Rooter offered to upgrade my old water line as well at a very steep discount considering that all the digging would already be done. I am very satisfied with their work - pics attached. All was done in one day! If it wasn't for them, a failed sump pump would have been the least of my problems - sewer water bath for sure. I called Eugene and his team in an emergency situation with a pipe leaking and no shut off in sight. Eugene walked me through exactly how to find the shut off and get the water from pouring out of the back of my apartment building. I scheduled repair of the damaged exterior tap and Eugene was very professional in his booking and attending at the job site on time. The workers he sent, Dennis and his helper, were extremely courteous and efficient. They assessed the issue and explained to me exactly why one option of repair was better than the alternative but still allowed me to choose my preference. The work was completed neatly with very little disruption (I am currently working from home like most during covid19). The value of the work was excellent. I am very satisfied and will certainly refer any friends or family in need of plumbing services. I can't thank Eugene and his team enough for such speedy, efficient service.
